Sharon Olivier

As Organisational Psychologist, senior Faculty in Leadership development and Discipline Lead for HR and Talent at Ashridge Hult Executive Education,  Sharon teaches, researches & consults in Strategic HR; Leading in the 21stcentury,  Agile  leadership, Engagement, Polarity Management, Diversity and Inclusion,  The neuro-science of reframing unhelpful patterns, and Emotional Resilience. 

 

Before joining Ashridge, Sharon gained valuable leadership and industry experience as a senior leader in Human Resources in the Motor Industry for 10 years and Director of  the Development Division for 150 Dealerships.  She then joined an international consulting organisation as head of “Capacity building” for 2 years, after which she led a successful OD development and Learning company based in Johannesburg, offering OD and learning services internationally for 17 years.

 

She has established a record of accomplishment as an inspirational speaker at conferences on the topics of Leadership Agility, the Future of HR and the new logics needed to lead the 21st century organisation.  She has co-published a book on Personal Resilience “Diamonds in the Dust” and a chapter in the latest Ashridge leadership 2017 book “Inspiring Leadership” on The Engagement Dilemma and the use of Ego and Eco Leadership Intelligence.   Sharon has recently led or co-authored research into Leadership Agility in Turbulent times,   Engagement in Work Teams – shades of grey,  and Mindful leadership (Academic Journal). Her book on Leadership Agility will be published by Routledge in November 2020.
